What shall I bring when I come to Dental365 for a dental emergency?
For your appointment we ask that you bring your ID (passport / BSN-Card), Dutch health and dental insurance cards if you have them. Also you should be prepared with a debit (PIN) or credit card in case payment will be required. In case of cash payments, we do not have any change.
How long do I have to wait for dental emergency treatment?
If you come for emergency treatment you will always be given a target time. We can never exactly indicate how long the waiting time will be because we cannot estimate in advance what the emergency treatment of a patient will be.
Often you will be helped on time but sometimes it can take a little longer. Acute care, trauma and children always have priority even if you have been given an appointment before that time.
We at Dental365 always do our best to help you as soon as possible. Depending on how busy it is, and the treatments scheduled for the day, the wait time may vary. According to the data we have from Google, our patients spend about 20 min to an hour and a half in the practice. This corresponds to the average dental practice. Nevertheless, we strive to start treating every patient within 30 min.
Do I need to fill out forms in advance when I visit the emergency practice?
Yes, after you make an appointment you will receive confirmation of your appointment by text message from us. In this confirmation you will also find a link to an online medical history form (health form).
Because we have no record of you, you must have completed this form before you come. This form is of great importance to you and to your practitioner. This information will always be treated confidentially and only used to inform the dentist before treatment. This form does not make you a patient at Dental365. The form is intended to provide you with optimal dental care.
How long does a treatment last?
How long a treatment takes depends on what treatment needs to take place. You also need to agree in advance on exactly what you want to have treated, because follow-up treatment can also be carried out by your own dentist, if you have one. If you do not have an own dentist, you can also go to a number of locations for these follow-up treatments. A treatment rarely lasts longer than an hour. On average, the treatments take 20 to 30 minutes.
